April 25, 2011
This last September, my Aunt Barbara was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer. After having lost two of her sisters over the last few years, 1 to breast cancer, the other to ovarian, she quickly underwent a double mastectomy and began chemotherapy treatments. Unfortunately, the Anderson family’s struggles haven’t stopped there.
In February, my Uncle Mike’s employer, Oregon City’s Blue Heron Paper Co., closed, leaving Mike jobless and without health benefits or his right to continue coverage through Cobra and pay the company’s portion of premiums. Fortunately, a bankruptcy judge has since intervened in the closing of the Heron Paper Co. and has requested severance pay and the right for employees to continue health insurance at their own expense.
Unfortunately, as many of you know, paying for health insurance without a job is extremely difficult, and the pressure that this family is dealing with as they seek the treatment that is needed is difficult to bear. The Vancouver Clinic has been helpful during this time of need, arranging for a drug company’s charity fund to cover one of the most recent chemotherapy treatments, and has been assisting Mike and Barbara in contacting several Washington drug-abatement programs to seek a reduced-cost for the other 52 needed chemotherapy treatments.
I would like to do something to offer both emotional and financial support, so in an effort to help ease the financial burden that my aunt and uncle are dealing with during this trying time, I am offering 3 days of mini-photo sessions (for up to four people). The session is $30 and with each session come two high-resolution images that can be used for printing up to an 8×10. Each additional high resolution photo is $25. Any packages ordered will be given a 25% discount from their regular price. ALL proceeds go toward the Anderson family.
Please consider helping this family by taking advantage of this offer and passing it along to your family and friends. Every dollar earned makes a difference for Barbara and her being able to receive the necessary treatment she deserves.
You can read more about the Anderson’s at http://www.barbarasbattle.com/Home.php

I would love a slot on may 7th sometime between 11and 1:00. Can you do more than mini session for the same family?

More cards!

January 13, 2011

Here they are.  My brand new set of cards and accordian albums.  I am so in love them with and I’m sure you will be too.  Don’t forget to to sign up for the mini sessions.

Cards are above and the accordian albums are below.  They are a different size than what I typically offer, but they are adorable!  I usually offer 3×3 and these are 4×8

Here is just one sample of the Valentines cards I have for the mini sesssions.  These are the die cut cards with a scallop cut.  Of course the colors can be changed if needed.  Keep an eye out for more cards!

I can not believe it is this time of year again.  The time has flown by so quickly.  But here we are about to start one of my favorite times of year.  Valentines day!  I think I love it much more now that I have kids.  It is so fun to pass out those wonderful cards to all of their friends.  And how great would it be to pass out cards with their photos on them!  Well here is your chance.  There will be limited spots available, so book now!  I will have some really fun props to play with.  If the weather permits, we may be able to head outside!  But if not, don’t worry, I will have a super cute studio set up.  And if you order within 3 days, I will give you 30% off your print order!

Hurry and call to reserve your spot!
